Politics heats up after Chief Minister's tweet on Dhuri Railway Overbridge

Politics flared up immediately after Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann tweeted about the approval of a railway over bridge at level crossing 62-A in Dhuri city, aimed at resolving the issue of the inner railway gates.
The over bridge is to be constructed over the canal passing through the city at a cost of 54.76 crore. The situation intensified when Union Minister and BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu visited Dhuri the same morning and raised objections to the Chief Minister's tweet.
Responding to the Minister's remarks, AAP's newly appointed Dhuri constituency in-charge Dalvir Singh Dhillon stated that the central government has not contributed even a single rupee to the overbridge project. He clarified that the entire cost of 54.76 crore is being borne by the Punjab Government.
