Health department on alert as risk of dengue and malaria rises with onset of monsoon

With rising humidity and stagnant water accumulating due to the monsoon, the threat of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria, and chikungunya has increased significantly.
In response, the Health Department has gone into alert mode, launching awareness campaigns and door-to-door health checks to prevent outbreaks.
Senior Medical Officer (SMO) of the Civil Hospital Indri, Dr. Sandeep Abrol, conducted an inspection of the hospital on Monday, interacted with patients, and assured them of quality treatment. He directed all doctors and staff to ensure complete attentiveness in treating patients.
