District Magistrate issues orders imposing various restrictions across Hoshiarpur

District Magistrate Ashika Jain has issued several orders imposing restrictions across the district under the powers vested in her by Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (Indian Civil Security Code), 2023.
According to the orders, owners of poultry farms, rice shellers, brick kilns, and other small-scale industries as well as all other employers are directed to maintain a register at their premises. This register must contain the names, full addresses, and three photographs (front, left, and right profiles) of all their employees, along with the addresses of the employees' relatives.
