Barnala district leads country in Performance Grading Index

In the Performance Grading Index Report (2023-24) released by the Department of School Education (Ministry of Education), Government of India, Barnala district has secured the top position in the country by scoring 424 out of 600.
Deputy Commissioner Mr. T. Benith IAS congratulated the Education Department Barnala on this achievement. He said that under this survey, 6 different criteria were kept which include learning outcomes, effective classrooms, infrastructure, school safety, digital learning, governance process etc. Under these criteria, everything from the infrastructure of schools to teaching methods were observed during the survey.
