Torquay announce changes on the board

THERE has been a shake up behind the scenes at Torquay United with chief executive officer Mark Thomas leaving the club after just four months in the role, and Tim Herbert being appointed general manager.

When Thomas was appointed in June, co-chairman Michael Westcott said: “If we want success on the pitch, we must build a robust and scalable business off it - and reducing our reliance on matchday revenue is key.
“Mark’s innovative approach to that challenge really impressed us.”
