“1m a big believer in the way that we've been working. I think there's always going to be differences in your personality, in the way that you prepare players, but my main aim is that this team, this group of players, the staff - we represent the club to the highest possible standards. We'll have good performances, we'll have average performances, we might have some poor performances, but the behaviours and the standards that we set for each other will be consistent.”
Green began his coaching career within the City academy before working with the Under-23s, as well as the senior squad. He left the Grecians in August 2022 to join Aston Villa as an under-21 coach before moving to Rotherham United in June 2023 as first-team strategic development coach.
In July 2024 he returned to Devon to the role of Individual Player Development Phase Coach, and has worked alongside Caldwell as part of the coaching staff.
