Business tracker picks out region's top firms

A NUMBER of Devon firms are among companies in the South West identified in new research as having the greatest potential to expand.

Businesses in the county have been singled out by a data-led project conducted by the Great South West Partnership and Tech South West, which work to connect the region's businesses and promote investment.

The High Growth Business Tracker has rated the strongest-performing companies in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire, representing sectors including clean energy, defence, advanced manufacturing, digital industries and food production which are regarded as key to the region’s future prosperity.

A Teignmouth-based building firm is one of the top five companies in the entire region in he High Growth Business Tracker.
