Winless Truro must adjust to higher level quickly

|Western Morning News (Saturday)
THINGS certainly don’t get any easier for Truro City as they welcome another big name of the National League to the TCS today still searching for their first point - and goal - of the season, writes Stuart James.
Southend United make the trip from East to West and the Tinners’ manager John Askey is demanding a response from his players, who fell below their high standards in Tuesday's 2-0 loss at Tamworth.
“It’s another good game for the players, Southend are a good side and will be up there at the end of the season and it’s another challenge that we have to try and rise to,” he said. “We have to dust ourselves down and battle and fight for every point that we can get.”
It hasn’t been an easy ride for the Tinners on their first-ever foray into the ‘Fifth Division, but few would have expected any differently, other than perhaps the most wildly optimistic Truro fan.
