Landmark women's health conference

ORGANISERS of a landmark women's health conference - the first of its kind in Cornwall - have hailed the event as a "pivotal moment" for health equity in the UK.

'The Future of Women's Health: Access, Equity & Action' brought together over 100 people, including healthcare professionals, community voices and advocates.

Held at the Royal Cornwall Showground on Thursday, June 26, the event highlighted the unique challenges faced by women across the region and nationally, while fostering action-focused dialogue on inclusion, access and equity.

The day featured keynote and guest speakers on a wide range of women's health topics from mental health and wellbeing, to inequality, including a specific focus on the experiences of vulnerable women.
