ELDREDS, PLYMOUTH
-
ELDREDS says that with the price of gold and other precious metals continuing to rise to all-time highs through 2025, gold coins, silver and jewellery have been increasingly bought and sold.
Back in 2000, full sovereigns were selling at auction for £50-60. Today the price often exceeds ten times that value and gold remains a good source of investment. A George V 1930 full sovereign realised £660 in Eldreds recent specialist Christmas sale and a 1980 half-Krugerrand in pendant mount sold for £1,260.
