A BREATHTAKING exhibition of Van Gogh masterpieces which frees the paintings from their frames in spectacular style is coming to Exeter this autumn.

Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is billed as a mesmerising attraction which brings the works of Vincent Van Gogh to life in thrilling and vivid fashion.

The walls of Westpoint Arena will become the canvas for artwork such as The Starry Night, Sunflowers, Terrace of a Cafe at Night and many other paintings. Audiences will be able to see the incredible detail of Van Gogh's work, awakening their imagination as they are enveloped in colourful flowers and landscapes.

A spokesperson said: "Even if you are not very familiar with Van Gogh's paintings, this is an excellent access point to his world, and a way to connect to the artist behind the art."
