Grimshaw completes his big move to Norwich City

Pilgrims receive fee believed to be £600,000 from their Championship rivals

PLYMOUTH Argyle goalkeeper Dan Grimshaw has completed his move to Championship side Norwich City for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old from Salford, started his career with Manchester City, moving to Blackpool in 2021. After playing 49 times for the Seasiders, the Pilgrims signed him in August 2024, following Michael Cooper's departure to Sheffield United.

Grimshaw played 22 games fro the Pilgrims, but lost his place to Conor Hazard midway through last season. In a statement, Argyle said: “We thank Dan for his service and wish him well for the future.” A post on X added: “Thank you for your efforts in Green, Grimmy.”

It was previously reported the Canaries agreed a £600,000 deal to take him to East Anglia, with the club keen to get him signed in the first of two summer transfer windows.
