Walford residents are all excited about the Easter egg hunt in the Square - but Nigel feels suffocated by Phil.

So when Yolande asks him to dress up as the Easter bunny, Nigel sees a chance to prove himself to his pal.

All is going well until Nigel confuses Hope for his stepdaughter Clare. Jean, Harvey and Ian then question Phil about Nigel's wellbeing and his dementia diagnosis is finally revealed.

However, Phil discovers his mate has been keeping another secret - he intends to take his own life if his memory continues to deteriorate.

Phil is horrified, prompting Nigel to write him a goodbye note before trying to leave Walford.

Phil later manages to track him down, but with Nigel still adamant he wants to make his own decisions while he still can, will they reach an understanding?
