Police break up party as 100 teens ‘take over quiet street’

POLICE were called to disperse a house party that got out of control after more than 100 teenagers showed up and "took over" a residential street.
Neighbours described "well over 100 teenagers" in the road and claimed they were "throwing and smashing bottles in the street" before police showed up and dispersed the crowds.
Officers were called at around 9pm on Saturday, September 13, to reports of a mass gathering in Croft Goch Road, Kenfig Hill, Bridgend.
No offences were identified and all teenagers present were escorted by police to Pyle railway station and onwards to Bridgend and Maesteg.
"It was total chaos," said neighbour Jayne Llewellyn, 42, who captured the incident from the top of her driveway.
