PC cleared in 'abuse of power' case

A POLICEMAN accused of making "sexually explicit and unwanted comments" to women he met during the course of his work has been found not guilty of three counts of the improper use of police power or privileges.
Luke Silver, 34, was a constable with Gwent Police when he was accused of making the comments to two women in 2021 and 2022. He denied the allegations and faced trial at Cardiff Crown Court. He was found not guilty yesterday.
