Newport bag a pair of Foxes on loan to boost Hughes' squad

NEWPORT County beat the transfer window deadline to complete late loan deals for Leicester City pair Nathan Opoku and Sammy Braybrooke.

Forward Opoku, 24, and 21-year-old midfielder Braybrooke will both be available to County manager Dave Hughes until January 2026.
England Under-20 international Braybrooke joins the League Two side following a spell on loan in Scottish football with Dundee last season.
Exiles boss Hughes described Braybrooke as “a tenacious midfielder”, adding: “He will add depth to our squad.
