Mathias signs new deal with Scarlets

WALES international prop Kemsley Mathias has become the latest home-grown player to commit to the Scarlets.

The 25-year-old Pembrokeshire loose-head (pictured) has signed a new deal to stay at Parc y Scarlets for the coming seasons, following Macs Page, Tomi Lewis, Joe Roberts, Eddie James and Taine Plumtree in extending their stay in West Wales.
Rated one of the brightest young front-row prospects in the country, Mathias played his junior rugby for Narberth before coming through the Scarlets pathway.
He was a member of the club's Academy and went on to be capped by Wales U20s.
