Man who harassed ex-partner is jailed

A CANNABIS dealer called his former partner a "rat" and tried to get her to withdraw an allegation of assault against him, a court has heard.

A judge said 29-year-old Ashley Cann, pictured, who has 46 previous offences on his record, had shown to be someone who “seems to have a particular liking towards harassing people”.
Alycia Carpanini, prosecuting, told Swansea Crown Court that on April 19 last year police executed a search warrant at a property on Pontiago Road, Pontarddulais, from which they recovered a large quantity of snap-seal bags and empty containers.
The homeowner, Cann's ex-partner, told officers the defendant no longer lived there.
