A DRUGS gang has been jailed for more than 24 years after police found more than £50,000 worth of drugs and £42,000 in cash during a raid.

A warrant was carried out at an address in Constable Drive, Newport, in January 2024 and officers recovered almost 1kg of cocaine worth around £50,000, 183.9 grams of cannabis, £30,000 cash and drug paraphernalia, including scales and a cannabis grinder, from the property.

All five members admitted to the drug-related offences and were sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court.

Officers from Gwent Police later arrested another member of the gang, Ross Appleby, in Power Street in March last year. After searching his vehicle and a property linked to him, they seized £12,520 cash, a black Audi Q3 car, smartphones, an electric scooter and an electric bike.

Appleby, 27, William Inker, 25, Kieran McCormack, 27, and Jaylin Foley, 19, all admitted to conspiracy to supply cocaine, a Class A controlled drug.
