Baby born prematurely died in cot at eight weeks old

A BABY girl born prematurely died after her mother was unable to wake her at home, an inquest heard.
-
Rita-Zee Renvia Rees was born on July 24, 2023, at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend.
Her mother had been having checkups due to high blood pressure and it was decided after a 33-week gestation period that an emergency caesarean should take place.
Apart from her premature birth, Rita was a healthy baby who grew at a normal rate for her age.
