Warning of more disruption for M5 motorists

MOTORISTS expecting to use the M5 over the next few months are being warned to prepare for further disruption after multiple sets of work are expected to take place on the motorway in Devon and Somerset.

‘The works are set to last until February 2026.

In mid-September, works on the southbound carriage of the motorway resulted in sections between junction 28 and 30 being closed. The works will last until December, and are carried out on weeknights to allow crews to complete the works.
