Western Daily Press

POLICE uncovered a huge cannabis farm which was growing over 230 plants, with an estimated yield worth around £200,000.

Officers carried out a warrant at the property on Amberey Road in Weston-super-Mare, where they found the farm.

Members of the public alerted police about the property after they suspected it was being used to grow the Class B drug. Officers were then able to carry out a warrant under section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
