Rock star auctions off his limited edition Volkswagen Golf

A PINK Floyd star has auctioned his 'unique' 90s car - for nearly £8,000.

Drummer Nick Mason, who lives at Middlewick House in Corsham, Wiltshire, put his 1995 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet Mk III Pink Floyd Edition up for sale. The car, which is one of a limited number of Volkswagens produced in collaboration with the band in the 1990s, went under the hammer on Saturday and was sold for £7,875.
It was auctioned off at the NEC in Birmingham by Iconic Auctioneers, with all proceeds going to the Harefield Healing Garden charity.
