Hunt after gun fired from car at trading estate

A GUN was fired from a car in Yeovil, sparking a huge emergency response at an industrial estate in the Somerset town.

Armed police officers rushed to Lufton Trading Estate at 12.45pm on Wednesday after a shot was fired by someone in a 4x4 vehicle.
The suspects quickly fled the scene inside the same car and, despite police searches, no one has yet been found or arrested. The car believed to be involved, a red 4x4, has been seized by Avon and Somerset Police.
The police helicopter was involved in the search.
