Arrests as rival protesters clash in city centre

THREE people were arrested during two protests in Bristol city centre yesterday.
-
Police estimated about 70-100 people protesting about immigration gathered in the city and were met by a larger counter-protest of 300-400 people.
The people arrested by Avon and Somerset Police were held on suspicion of assault or public order offences. No-one was understood to have been injured.
