Supporters lament loss of village heavy horse show

TREGONY Heavy Horse Show and County Fayre will not take place this year after organisers raised concerns over the maintenance of the field in which it is held.
-
The event, which has taken place in the village since 1977, sees the parading and judging of heavy horses and Shetland ponies.
It also includes craft stalls, live music, sheepdog and shearing dem-onstrations, a firework display and a bonfire, along with refreshments.
Organisers announced in a post on Facebook last Wednesday that they had decided to cancel this year’s show.
