A LONE walker has survived gales and driving rain to cross the entire length of Hadrian's Wall to raise hundreds for Mind in Somerset (MiS) and The South West Heritage Trust.

Sean Pringle Kosikowsky, pictured inset, set off earlier last month for the three-and-a half-day trek in wildest Northumberland.
In all he covered 89 miles and raised £1,370 ~ almost twice his target, which he is dividing between the two charities.
