WALES players have reacted to their inclusion in the squad for the upcoming European Championships in Switzerland.
-
Rhian Wilkinson made the announcement from the summit of Yr Wyddfa, Wales’ highest peak, on Thursday morning.
A total of 23 players will represent Wales in their first ever major tournament.
Pembrokeshire product Angharad James has been named as captain and, alongside Jess Fishlock, Hayley Ladd and Sophie Ingle, she is one of four centurions named.
Wales have a tough group, facing France, England and Netherlands in July in their first ever Euros.
