People 'rush from hotel fire'

FIREFIGHTERS were battling a major hotel blaze yesterday afternoon.

It broke out at the Queens Hotel in Blaenau Ffestiniog. Flames erupted through the roof as people rushed out of the hotel, according to North Wales Live.
Two eyewitnesses told North Wales Live what they saw. Laura Whitaker-Jones, who was in the area with her husband Robert and staying at a local Airb&b, said: “It was horrifying, you could see massive flames coming out of the whole hotel.
