U.S.-Canada Fight Upends Trade Talks

Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada said he was ready to resume trade negotiations "when the Americans are ready," one day after President Trump said he was terminating the talks because of an anti-tariff advertisement campaign sponsored by the Ontario government.

Doug Ford, the premier of the province, said on Friday that after talking with Carney he would pause its U.S. ad campaign effective Monday.
