Making the effort to get friends reunited

One thing we all have at some stage in our lives, to a greater or lesser extent, is friends.

If you think back in your life of the people you had as friends from school, clubs, sports, work, socially etc you can probably think of many and the older you are that number is even bigger.

When I look back at those I had, some moved away, shared interests changed, some are sadly no longer with us but mostly, the reason for losing friends is neglect.

Keeping friends sometimes takes effort, being there when they need you and not just when it's convenient. I am saddened when I think back to some of the mates I drifted apart from just for the want of an occasional phone call.
