Universal Credit kids missing free meals

CHILDREN from families on Universal Credit should automatically qualify for free school meals, head teachers have demanded.

They want an end to struggling parents having to go through a registration process to get their youngsters fed.

The National Association of Headteachers sent the message to Rishi Sunak from their annual conference in South Wales this weekend.
