Amorim doesn't need Pope's tactical blessing as gritty United hang on to carve out win

RUBEN AMORIM saw his Manchester United side lift the pressure growing around him and the club and then told his players to keep on winning.

The United boss had said not even the Pope could get him to change his formation but the prayers of the Old Trafford fans were answered as they hit back after their derby defeat against Manchester City.

After Chelsea had goalkeeper Robert Sanchez sent off after only five minutes, Bruno Fernandes put them in front and then Casemiro doubled their lead before also being dismissed. Trevoh Chalobah's late header gave Chelsea hope.
