Hat-trick hero Kane makes a benchmark

HARRY KANE played the supersub role to perfection as he came off the bench to score a second-half hat-trick in BAYERN MUNICH's 5-0 rout of STUTTGART.

Kane (right) took his Bundesliga tally to 17 for the season as the German giants stretched their unbeaten run to 13 games in the top division. Remarkably, the England skipper has notched 58 goals for club and country in 2023, more than he has ever scored before in a calendar year.
But he had to bide his time after being named on the bench by head coach Vincent Kompany for the trip to the MHP Arena.
Kane said: “It's something I'm not used to, but I did it a couple of times this season.
“The boss wanted to keep me fresh and save energy.
