Charles lines up a concert fit for a King

PRINCE Charles is laying on an outdoor Coronation concert at Windsor Castle to celebrate being officially crowned King in May – with thousands of tickets up for grabs in a public ballot.

The historic event, on the Castle’s East Lawn, will include performances by “global music icons” and pop stars, as well as a world class orchestra.

There will also be a Coronation Choir made up of refugee, NHS and LGBTQ+ choirs across the land.

Deaf signing choirs will take part too alongside an online ‘virtual choir’ made up of singers from across the Commonwealth.

And the concert, which will be broadcast live by the BBC, will feature spoken word performances delivered by stars of stage and screen along with dancing acts.
