MAHA KUMBH OF 2025: DO'S AND DON'TS

DR MANOJ SHARMA In 2025, the Maha-Kumbh has begun in Prayagraj on January 13, 2025, with the Pausha Purnima Snan, and will conclude on February 26, 2025, with the Shahi Snan, corresponding with Maha Shivaratri.

It is envisaged that it will be a large gathering of over 100 million pilgrims attending it. The website is https://mahakumbh.in/Here are some Do's and Don'ts that you must practise if you are planning to go.
THE DO'S ARE:
Stay informed of all news about the Kumbh Mela, especially about health and security measures.
Have a travel plan, a place of stay, and means of how to communicate with family members.
Consume safe water, preferably bottled from a reputable manufacturer, and after checking it carefully.
Always carry the bottle with you.
Eat well-cooked hot meals.
Consume fruits that must be peeled, e.g., bananas, oranges, etc.
