January 14, 2025
|The Straits Times
Golf fans in Singapore can expect to see more top-pedigree players as Scotland's Robert MacIntyre, who featured in the 2023 Ryder Cup, is set to play in the US$2.5 million (S$3.44 million) Porsche Singapore Classic from March 20 to 23.
The world No. 14 will make his second appearance at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club, having featured in the inaugural edition in 2023, the organisers said on Jan 13.
MacIntyre said: "I'm really excited to be playing in the Porsche Singapore Classic again this year. The fans were amazing last time, and Laguna National is a great course to start the season's Asian swing."
Following his appearance in the 2023 edition, where he missed the halfway cut, he won his first PGA Tour title at the Canadian Open in June 2024.
