LONDON - Liverpool manager Arne Slot wants his team to always “keep going” but he also hinted that they should be a bit more composed, as he prepares for the Merseyside derby against Everton on Sept 20 in what promises to be a fiery clash at Anfield.

The Reds are riding high after a scintillating 3-2 Champions League win over Atletico Madrid on Sept 17, sealed by Virgil van Dijk’s stoppage-time header.
Remarkably, they have found a way to win with goals in the final 10 minutes in all five games this season, including their perfect four victories in the English Premier League.
However, there is also concern that Liverpool are throwing away two-goal leads (against Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Atletico) before finally clinching victory.
“We have only played five, so it is difficult to see a long-term pattern,” said Slot.
