Malaysia girl group’s video removed over revealing outfits

A music video by Malaysian girl group Dolla was taken down from all platforms after it drew the attention of conservative and religious critics, who deemed the group’s outfits too revealing.
The music video for Dolla’s latest single Question features the group’s members — Sabronzo (Wan Sabrina Wan Rusli), Tabby (Tabitha Ariel Lam Lianne) and Angel (Angelina Chai Ka Ying) - in outfits that show their thighs and midriffs.
In a statement on Nov 15, Universal Music Malaysia (UMM) said it removed the video from all digital platforms to “protect the sensitivities of the various races and religions” in Malaysia.
