With flood waters receding across affected districts in Johor, the authorities have launched a large-scale clean-up operation to clear debris and assist residents in rebuilding their lives, especially with Hari Raya just around the corner.

JOHOR BAHRU – With flood waters receding across affected districts in Johor, the authorities have launched a large-scale clean-up operation to clear debris and assist residents in rebuilding their lives, especially with Hari Raya just around the corner.
Deputy State Secretary On Jabbar said the government has deployed more than 3,000 people from Southern Volunteers, a volunteer body, since March 22 to aid in the clean-up efforts.
"The majority of our volunteers are young people, including university students, youth group members, residents' committee members, and government employees from various agencies and departments.
