Just a few years ago, I would have hesitated taking an electric car on a road trip of any real distance beyond Singapore.
BANGKOK - The electric vehicle (EV) charging network was patchy at best and models like the Mini Electric did not have a lot of operating range.
Things have progressed a lot since in terms of the charging network as well as the EVs. A recent media trip in March to Thailand to try out the latest Mini EVs presented a good opportunity to experience the advancements firsthand.
