President Droupadi Murmu on Monday expressed confidence that India is poised to become a leading global destination for healthcare, with institutions like AIIMS already gaining international recognition and attracting both researchers and patients from abroad.
Addressing the 5th Convocation of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, the President highlighted growing concerns around stress, depression, and lifestyle-related diseases. She emphasized that alongside medical treatment, awareness and lifestyle changes are key to addressing mental health issues. "Mental peace can be achieved through discipline, improved eating habits, and regular exercise," she said.
