In a sweeping operation on Wednesday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at eight different locations in Nadia, stirring an atmosphere of anticipation as investigations into alleged ration corruption gain momentum.

The searches, which targeted rice mills in Jahangirpur, Bhaluka, and Mallickpara in Krishnanagar, along with Govindpur Rice Mill in Shantipur, Mayakole in Dhubulia, Swarupganj in Nabadwip, and Haringhata and Kalyani, mark a significant step towards ensuring transparency and accountability in the distribution of essential commodities.
