The Sikkim Veterans Table Tennis Association recently felicitated two of the state's most celebrated veteran paddlers—Prem Jyoti Lama and Uday Kumar Pradhan—in recognition of their outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication to the sport.
Prem Jyoti Lama was honoured for her long-standing commitment to table tennis, a journey marked by consistent excellence at national and international platforms. Lama won her first bronze medal at the 18th Veteran National Table Tennis Championship in Delhi in 2011. Since then, she has gone on to win multiple bronze medals at national championships in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2022.
