Karnataka’s tableau, themed ‘Millets to Microchip’, has been dropped from the 77th Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path in New Delhi, sparking a political blame game between the ruling Congress and opposition BJP in the state.
The tableau was conceived toshowcase Karnataka’s journey from traditional agriculture to technological innovation, featuring crops such as ragi, jowar, navane, and sajje alongside the state’s globally recognised IT and semiconductor ecosystem.
