Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Rai Wednesday targeted the Yogi government in the case of the dismissed constable, the mastermind of the cough syrup scandal. Rai alleged that the government is treating the accused like a "damad" (receiving exceptional respect, care, and hospitality) after his arrest.
Rai made this statement while sharing a post on his Facebook page. He wrote: "Dismissed constable Alok Singh, the mastermind of the cough syrup scandal, is receiving
VVIP treatment like a'damad' after his arrest by the STF ...! "
