IPL: Delhi Capitals Eye Home Victory Against Struggling Rajasthan Royals

Having suffered a heart-breaking defeat in their previous match which saw their impressive winning streak come to an end, Delhi Capitals will aim to regain the momentum when they take on a somewhat off-colour Rajasthan Royals in an Indian Premier League (IPL) clash here on Wednesday.

Perennial underachievers during the previous editions of the IPL, Delhi enjoyed a dream start to the current season when they won the first four matches of their campaign which saw them capture the top spot on the points table.

However, their previous match against five-time champions Mumbai Indians proved to be an anticlimax for the Capitals as they suffered a 12-run defeat after a thrilling encounter. That loss knocked them off the top perch to the second spot on the IPL table.

However, despite the defeat, Delhi Capitals have much to be positive about. Their batting order has performed like a well-oiled machine with Karun Nair and KL Rahul in superb form.

The Delhi bowling line-up also packs a heavy punch with the likes of Mitchell Starc, Kuldeep Yadav, skipper Axar Patel and youngster Vipraj Nigam having the ability to topple any batting line-up on their day.
