Five more arrested in fake certificate racket for GDS jobs scam

The Crime Branch arrested five more individuals in connection with a widespread fake certificate racket for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) job aspirants.

With these arrests, the total number of accused held in the case has risen to 25.

The gang was allegedly charging Rs 5 lakh from each aspirant in exchange for counterfeit certificates. Investigations revealed that fake certificates and mark sheets were issued under the names of at least 41 educational institutions across various states.
