JUDGMENT day may be coming for Kelly Smith and her two co-accused, but one painful truth remains: little Joshlin Smith is still missing.

The 7-year-old disappeared from her home in Middelpos, Saldanha Bay, on February 19 last year.
Since then, the nation has been gripped by the case, not only because of the horror of a missing child, but because of the allegations that she may have been sold for R20 000.
On Wednesday, Western Cape High Court Judge Nathan Erasmus was clear. “This case is not about where Joshlin is” he said. “It is about the accused being charged with criminal offences, and the State bears the onus to prove that”
