Tiger Brands recall Benny Beef and Chicken Stock Cubes for labelling error

TIGER Brands has issued a precautionary voluntary recall of its Benny Beef Flavoured Stock Cubes and Benny Chicken Flavoured Stock Cubes due to inaccurate nutritional labelling on the packaging.

The recall applies to products with a best-before date of July 31, 2027 or earlier, the company said in a media statement yesterday.

The company added that the decision followed consultation with the National Consumer Commission (NCC), despite no consumer complaints having been received.

“This decision is in line with its commitment to the highest quality standards and in the best interests of its consumers.”
